A: The TYS Analysis Sessions will be analyzing relevant questions from the Ten Year Series (past 10 years' worth of GCSE O and N Level exam papers) in preparation for the upcoming national Geography exams. In these sessions, we will be focusing on breaking down the question requirements and mark allocations, such that students understand what each question is testing and how to approach them in the exam should they be faced with these questions. The class will also be rigorously going through the suggested model answer key, personally written by our founder, in order to know the best way to tackle these questions and secure their marks.

Students are highly encouraged to attempt the questions in advance, as the TYS Analysis Session will be solely focused on analyzing the questions and suggested answering approach.

A: The GI Skills Workshop will be focused on attempting Geographical Investigation / Field Work questions, honing students' skills at the same time. Students will be exposed to a variety of question types such as evaluating validity, reliability, and accuracy, as well as assessing data collection methods, and so forth.

A: The Data Skills Workshop will be focused on attempting a variety of data questions from bar graphs, compound line charts, to choropleth maps. Students will be exposed to a variety of question types that test their data interpretation skills, meticulous representation skills, and comparison skills.

A: The Essay Skills Workshop will be focused on attempting a variety of LORMS questions. Students will be focusing on nailing down their fundamental PEEL structure, as well as a masterclass on how to evaluate effectively and critically, in order to secure the highest mark of L3/9 in their exams.

A: Yes, the answer keys will be shared with students after the lessons. Kindly allow up to 1 week for us to disseminate the answer keys.

A: The Lecture Recordings are 1.5-2h long crash courses covering key concepts, essential content, and crucial case studies from each cluster. Students who sign up for the Lecture Recordings will also get a free summary of our notes to aid in their revision and follow along in the lecture!

A: Students are encouraged to come to these Individual Consultations with a goal or questions in mind.

A: If the student is unclear on what to cover, the teacher will go through the student's attempted work from our Intensive Holiday Programme, and provide further guidance accordingly.

A: Let us know a list of your child's availability, and we will pair them up with a suitable teacher accordingly. Please note that an Exam Surcharge fee applies in the months of September & October for last minute requests of less than 2 weeks notice, so do book your slots ahead of time!

A: Requesting specific teachers will be subject to an additional $50 surcharge, if the pairing is successful. This will be waivable should the pairing be unsuccessful. Kindly also note that we are unable to guarantee which teacher will be assigned to students due to limited availability.

A: Yes, we offer video playbacks for all of the lessons. Please indicate your request on the Google Form upon sign up. In the event of a sudden unavailability, do drop us a message on WhatsApp (8505 0107) as soon as possible so that we can send you the video recording after the session. Kindly allow us up to 2 days after the scheduled lesson to send out the video recordings.

A: All lessons are conducted online over Google Meet.

A: Yes! We aim to offer flexibility for our elective students. Hence, each lesson focuses on a different topic. As such, please pick the relevant Geography clusters that your child is covering in school.
